Equestfest – Featuring 2006 Rose Parade Equestrians

BURBANK, Calif., Dec. 27 /PRNewswire/ —
WHAT: Meet USC Mascot “Traveler”, the magnificent white steed who runs
the football field after touchdowns, along with many of the
other Equestrians you will see riding down Colorado Boulevard in
the 2006 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade(R). Stroll through
the stables and talk to the riders. Learn about the various tack
and the many different breeds. Take advantage of wonderful
one-of-a kind photo opportunities, including having your picture
taken with “Traveler”. Watch in awe as these beautiful horses
and talented riders perform drills, jousting, and trick roping.
See the “wild west” brought to life, as well as exhibits and
displays. There will be food and beverage concessions on site.

WHO: Shawn Parr, popular celebrity DJ and equestrian in his own
right, will announce performances by many of this year’s Rose
Parade(R) participants. Equestfest, coordinated by Asman &
Associates, will entertain spectators with performances by
groups including All American Donkey & Mule Riders, Banuelos
Charro Team, Broken Horn Ropers, California Elite Petite,
California State Firefighters’ Association, Cal Poly University
Pomona, First Calvary Division, the Gypsy Cob Horses and Wagon,
Long Beach Mounted Police, Martinez Family, Medieval Times,
Painted Ladies Rodeo Performers, Scripps Miramar Saddlebreds,
Spirit of the West Riders, The New Buffalo Soldiers, Tulare
Mounted Sheriff’s Posse, United States Marine Corps, University
of Southern California’s Mascot “Traveler”, War Horse Militaria,
Jann Eldnor’s Western Riders, the Wells Fargo Stagecoach, the
Wonderful Outdoor World Riders, and the World Famous
Clydesdales. Welcome the Pasadena Tournament of Roses(R) Queen
and Her Court.
