Extended Stay Hotels(SM) Unveils New Design Package and Amenities at 29 Extended Stay Deluxe(SM) Properties

Signature Look Evokes a Residential Feel

SPARTANBURG, S.C., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Extended Stay Hotels' newest brand features a new look and a host of amenities designed with the long-term business traveler in mind. Today, HVM L.L.C., the operator of Extended Stay Hotels, unveiled a redesign of its new Extended Stay Deluxe hotels, the new mid-scale brand the company launched in May 2005, when it acquired 16 Sierra Suites(R) properties. There are currently 64 Extended Stay Deluxe properties with more than 100 expected by the end of 2006 and more than 200 by 2007. Extended Stay Deluxe currently features 29 properties with the new design package and amenities, and will have more than 80 properties renovated by the end of the year.

The moment guests enter the lobby they will be struck by the residential feel of the environment, which features a warm color palette of greens and earth tones and oversized couches and chairs that invite guests to relax and socialize. The fresh new look addresses the desires of style-conscious, savvy travelers and long-term guests who are "trading up" to affordable luxury, but are still seeking value. The new look features larger airy suites with fully equipped kitchens, enhanced television packages, generously sized workspaces with ergonomic desk chairs, wireless Internet access and personalized voicemail. Guest rooms feature an exciting new color palette of soothing green and moss tones, hard-wood style flooring, residential-style artwork on the walls, plush new bedding, pillow top mattresses and oversized chairs and couches -- all designed to look and feel like a home.

In addition to a new design package, Extended Stay Deluxe features new signature amenities including PrintNet Deluxe, complimentary printer stations in the lobby that allow guests to remotely print from their room and pick up their documents at their leisure, DayBreak Deluxe, complimentary gourmet coffee, bagels and fresh fruit in the morning, DVD players in every room, a complimentary DVD kiosk, alarm clocks with MP3 docking stations and BathCabinet Deluxe, a special amenity for guests in the event they leave a bath essential, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, razor or shaving cream at home.

"The appeal of our hotels is their value and functionality for traveling professionals, leisure travelers and families," said Gary A. DeLapp, President and Chief Executive Officer, HVM L.L.C. "With its exciting new look, Extended Stay Deluxe is a fresh new entry in the long-term stay category, one that combines style and comfort with unmatched value. We're delighted with this addition to our collection of hotel brands."

There are currently 29 Extended Stay Deluxe properties featuring the new design package throughout the United States. HVM L.L.C. plans continued expansion of the Extended Stay Deluxe brand to 100 locations throughout 2006, primarily through conversion of existing StudioPLUS hotels and 30 former Wellesley Inn and Suites hotels acquired in October 2004.
