Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa's Award-Winning Kids' Klub Provides Non-Stop Fun for Kids Who Just Want to Have Fun!

FORT MYERS, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/19/2006 -- At Sanibel Harbor Resort & Spa, kids stuff is serious business!

The resort's award-winning Kids' Klub provides fun-filled adventures each day for kids from ages 5 to 12. The program runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Sunday and includes lunch. Cost is $48 and includes a Kids' Klub backpack, t-shirt and prizes. The evening program runs from 6 until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and includes a pizza party. Cost is $35.

Supervised activities are coordinated by certified counselors with CPR, ADA and diversity training. Participants are grouped by ages for age appropriate activities.

The resort's young guests and their parents have given the Kids' Klub rave reviews. Packed with fun-filled adventures and lots of pool activities, the program features a different theme each day and activities from educational to the ridiculous each half hour.

Themed days include Magical Mondays, Tribal Tuesdays, Wet & Wild Wednesdays, Thrilling Thursdays, Fantastik Fridays and Slimy Saturdays. Depending upon the theme, crafts include mask-making, bumper cars, kite decorating, hand puppets, shell wind chimes, beading and Origami. And there is also SLIME!

Games and activities range from an I-Spy nature hunt, sand castle building, scavenger hunts and scooter chases to potato sack races and shell hunts. An extensive selection of movies is available. Participants are instructed to bring swimsuits, sunscreen, a cover-up, shoes and be ready for a great time!

In addition to Kids' Klub, Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa is filled with more activities for kids and teens. Dive-in (shown poolside) movies take place in the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) at no charge and the entire family is invited! During holidays, special events and seasonal activities are planned for kids and teens.

Kids' Tennis Clinic is held daily from 11 to 11:30 a.m. for ages 4 to 7 and from 11:30 to noon for ages 8 to 12. Use of a children's racquet is included. Cost is $10.

Many water activities and tours are available for the entire family to enjoy. Fishing, dolphin cruises, sea life encounter excursions, shelling and snorkeling trips, lunch on a barrier island, kayak tours and complimentary trolley trips to nearby Sanibel Island may be booked through the resort's concierge.

While kids are occupied, adults may enjoy time on their own with an energetic paddle through the mangroves or just relaxing by the pool or on the beach.
