The Markers Launches First and Only Golfer's Residence Club, Pioneers New Experience Travel Category

ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Introducing The Markers, defining a new category in luxury travel as the first and only residence club created exclusively for golf purists.

The Markers is the first concept of its kind, providing equity membership in a club which owns 36 luxury homes situated among the world's most renowned golf destinations, exceptional service and amenities and a menu of year-round legendary golf experiences.

"We recognize that to some, golf is not an amenity, it's a lifestyle," says Mitch Brinton, managing director and co-founder of The Markers. Entrepreneurs and golf enthusiasts Brinton and Ron Wade created a model for The Markers based on their own personal golf fantasies and summoned the support of PGA Champions Tour Professional Bruce Summerhays. Together they founded The Markers, only available to 325 members and offering access to luxury golf residences as well as exclusive golf experiences including semi- annual Golf Excursions to premier golf locations; a private, annual Club Championship at a different course each year; the M3, a luxury motor coach available for reservation; and The Markers Golf Academy, offered at most Markers' destinations.

Averaging $1.5 million, The Markers residences are located in celebrated golf destinations including Pinehurst, North Carolina; Scottsdale, Arizona; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; and St. George, Utah; which are already available to members, and 33 additional residences in locations such as Hilton Head, South Carolina; Kauai, Hawaii; and Punta Mita, Mexico. In each home, The Markers will display the latest clubs for members to demo while in residence and in select locations, amenities including video analysis, course simulators and putting greens will be available.

The Markers has three membership levels: Fairway, Partner and Corporate memberships which carry entry fees of $285,000, $325,000 and $375,000 and annual dues of $14,500, $16,500 and $18,500, respectively. A Charter Membership is available to the first 40 members. The Markers also offers equity ownership where members collectively own 75 percent of the club that owns the real estate portfolio.
