FREE ADMISSION TO THE CHURCHILL MUSEUM AND CABINET WAR ROOMS WITH A STAY AT THE DRAYCOTT HOTEL

Gain Great Insight Into Churchill’s Life and This Remarkable Time in History

LONDON, ENGLAND (09/06) – The Draycott Hotel, located in the heart of London, is honoring the Englishman who helped shape the history of the modern world – Sir Winston Churchill. From now until March 31, 2007, an overnight stay at the Draycott includes two adult tickets for admission to the historic Cabinet War Rooms and the Churchill Museum, the first museum dedicated to his life, achievements and legacy.

When victory of World War II was announced, the Cabinet War Rooms – where Sir Winston “lead the war” -- were closed, re-opening in 1984. Even the ashtrays were found with ashes when the process of re-opening these significant rooms began. Today, the Cabinet War Rooms may be seen just as they were during those crucial years. Over time, more of these rooms have opened to include the Churchill Museum, a museum with artifacts from all aspects of his long, remarkable and productive life. This is an experience not to be missed.

The Draycott occupies three red-brick Edwardian houses around the corner from Sloane Square. The perfect balance of luxury, privacy and location, the hotel offers 35 individually appointed and furnished rooms, each themed around a different object – be it an Indian ivory and ebony mirror, a satinwood table, or a Georgian-style canopy bed.

Many of the rooms and suites benefit from the glorious views over the private garden square below, particularly beautiful when the cherry trees are in blossom. And, at the end of the day, there is the indulgence of sleeping between the finest Sea Island cotton in a luxuriously large bed, especially made to Draycott’s own specification and designed for perfect rest. Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom containing a well-proportioned bath and a power shower.

The tickets are complimentary with a stay in a Deluxe Double at $545* plus VAT or in a Suite at $696 plus VAT per night, per room, double occupancy. Breakfast is included as is complimentary tea at 4 pm, champagne at 6 pm, and hot chocolate at 10 pm. Wi-fi is complimentary 24/7. For further information or reservations, email reservations@draycotthotel.com or call 800-747-4942 or 011 44 207 6466. The web site is http://www.draycotthotel.com
