WHITE PLAINS, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 29, 2006 -- Travel one extra day free by train when you purchase a 6-, 8- or 10-day Eurail Selectpass from Rail Europe here in North America between October 1-December 31, 2006. Rail travel days may be used non-consecutively within a 2-month period up to 6 months after the purchase date -- which means that this promotion can be used as late as June 2007, depending on purchase date.

The Eurail Selectpass is a "create-your-pass" product, allowing the buyer to select 3, 4 or 5 European countries out of the 22 possibilities*. The selected countries must be connected by rail or ferry.

This offer is valid for all versions of the Eurail Selectpass, including the youth (those under 26) and Saver (for 2 or more people traveling together) versions.

Prices for the Eurail Selectpass start at $423 US/$484 CAD for a 6-day 3-country pass, $503 US/$575 CAD for an 8-day 3-country pass and $580US/$664CAD for a 10-day pass; these lowest per person prices are for a Eurail Selectpass Saver (when two or more traveling together).
