Frontier to Begin Resuming Service to Cancun From Five Cities, Indianapolis-Cancun Service Approved by DOT

DENVER, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — On Saturday, November 5, Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ:FRNT) will begin resuming *scheduled service to all five of its Cancun destinations for the first time since Hurricane Wilma struck the Yucatan on the weekend of October 21. By the end of November, Frontier, will have resumed limited service to all five of its Cancun destinations.

In related news, Frontier also received approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to fly non-stop service between Indianapolis and Cancun, Mexico (CUN) beginning in March, 2006. Details of the new service, including schedules and fares, will be released in coming days.

“Cancun, and all the markets we serve in Mexico are a very important part of our product and have been significant to our growth,” said Joe Cambron, Frontier Director of Planning. “We are eager to resume our extensive Cancun service, providing our customers with access to Cancun and the Mayan Riviera.”

Following is the schedule for the resumption of service to Cancun from Denver, Salt Lake City, Kansas City, St. Louis and Nashville. Frontier encourages all passengers to reconfirm hotel plans in Cancun prior to departing.

Denver-Cancun

Beginning this Saturday, Frontier will fly non-stop from Denver to Cancun with operations initially on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Service will gradually increase, with daily service commencing November 19th.

Salt Lake City-Cancun

Beginning November 19th Frontier will resume its regular schedule in the Salt Lake market with non-stop departures operating each Saturday. In the interim, passengers will be accommodated through Frontier’s Denver hub.

Kansas City-Cancun

Frontier will resume non-stop service on Saturdays beginning November 19th. Passengers on other flights will be accommodated through Frontier’s Denver hub.

St. Louis-Cancun

Non-stop service will resume beginning November 20th, initially with Sunday operations.

Nashville-Cancun

Non-stop flights will commence November 19th with Southbound operations on Saturdays and Northbound operations on the following Fridays.
