Frontier Airlines Offers Thanksgiving Holiday Travel Tips

DENVER, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Holiday cheer is in the air and as our nation looks forward to the Thanksgiving holiday, Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ:FRNT) provides passengers with a few tips — and several check-in options — to ensure a smooth and safe holiday travel experience.

First, Frontier recommends that travelers arrive at the airport two hours prior to scheduled flight departure time, both on the outbound and inbound trips.

Frontier also offers the following tips for its customers traveling this holiday season:

* Stay Informed: To check the status of any Frontier flight, customers
are encouraged to check real-time flight status on the airline’s Web
site www.frontierairlines.com or call Frontier’s automated flight
information line at 800-432-1359.

* Check In Fast: Most e-ticketed customers may skip ticket counter lines
by using Frontier’s online check-in or kiosk-based check-in system,
which allows passengers to check in and print a boarding pass, either
from a home PC or a convenient airport kiosk, located at the DIA ticket
counter. Learn more about online check-in at
www.frontierairlines.com/checkin.

* Consider Curbside: Customers, especially those checking
ski/snowboard/golf or sporting equipment, are encouraged to use
Frontier’s full-service curbside check-in at Denver International
Airport, which is located on the east side of DIA on Levels 5 and 6.

* Skip the Crowd: Customers checking in at Frontier’s Denver hub may
access the A Concourse via the sky-bridge on the north side of the main
terminal to avoid potentially crowded trams.

* Speed Ahead: Ascent and Summit level members of EarlyReturns,
Frontier’s frequent flyer program, may use the elite lines at the
security checkpoints and ticket counter at DIA and other airports where
the service is available, to expedite access to the gates.

* Check It and Go: Frontier’s aircraft are spacious; however, onboard
stowage space is limited. Customers are encouraged to check rolling
bags at the ticket counter. Passengers are limited to one carry-on bag
and one personal item, such as a briefcase, purse or laptop computer.
Also, please remember that all carry-on luggage is subject to
inspection at all security checkpoints. If you do not have bags to
check, you may use Frontier’s express check-in line located at ticket
counter position one.

* Special Treatment: Year-round, Frontier provides extra service to
special-needs travelers throughout their travel process. Those
passengers are encouraged to notify Frontier of their requirements
either prior to traveling by calling 800-432-1359, or at check-in.

* Unwrap It: All wrapped packages/gifts will be unwrapped and inspected,
so customers are encouraged to either ship wrapped packages or travel
with only unwrapped gifts.

* Know Your Limits: Abide by the TSA permitted and prohibited items,
which are listed on Frontier’s Web site at
www.frontierairlines.com/about/checkpoint.asp.

* Ticketed Travelers Only: Only ticketed passengers are allowed beyond
the security checkpoint. Proper, government-issued identification,
such as a state-issued driver’s license or a passport, along with a
coordinating boarding pass, will be needed to pass through security.

Travelers are also encouraged to visit the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) “Traveler & Consumer Center” site at www.tsa.gov to learn more about airport security measures and get tips to help travelers save time and smoothly navigate the security and travel process.

Frontier wishes all of its passengers a healthy, safe and joyous holiday season. For more information or to book your holiday travel, please call Frontier Airlines at 800-4321-FLY, visit Frontier’s Web site at www.frontierairlines.com, or consult your professional travel agent.
