Amateur Classes Offered at Top Shows Such as Saint Tropez, Cannes, Monte Carlo, Estoril, Valkenswaard and Arezzo
Wellington, FL March 12, 2007 For amateur riders that are looking for a fun, competitive, hassle-free way to compete in Europe, showing on the Global Champions Tour is the perfect opportunity. Two levels of classes for amateurs are offered at six locations throughout Europe over ten weeks. At each competition, amateurs will compete in their own classes, but in the same ring as the top show jumping riders in the world.
Five weeks of competition are held at the same time as the Global Champions Tour, which is sponsored by CN Worldwide. It hosts some of the worlds most prestigious independent outdoor show jumping events, and five weeks are held simultaneously as CSI-2* and CSI-3* events.
Amateurs are invited to show in classes at two levels: 1.15m-1.20m or 1.25m-1.35m. Riders can bring up to four horses and compete for considerable prize money at each show. There is no qualification system, so riders are welcome to compete throughout the week, including the final on Sunday. The classes are held in the same ring as the grand prix and are created by the same course designer for the main show jumping event.
The competitions on the Global Champions Tour are held at some of the best facilities in Europe. The Horse Festival Valkenswaard (August 10-12, 17-19) and the International Concours Valkenswaard (August 23-26) are on the grounds of Stal Tops. CSI Valkenswaard is ranked third on the list of best outdoor show jumping events in the world. In Saint Tropez, riders compete at the scenic Saint Tropez Polo Club Haras de Gassin, and at Monte Carlo, competition is held just off the water in the breathtaking Monaco Harbor. Every event on the tour brings thousands of spectators that hang on every moment of the competition.
In addition to the incredible show jumping competition, the Global Champions Tour organizers will try to spoil you. Participants will receive a VIP ringside table with world-class catering at the event. Arrangements will be made with the best hotels in the area. Multiple cities on the tour are just minutes from the beach, boating and fantastic shopping. Many of the events are also an easy day-trip away from sightseeing opportunities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Rome and Lisbon.
Competing on the Global Champions Tour in Europe provides the chance to ride at the best European shows and have the perfect summer vacation. The Global Champions Tour can take care of all of your reservations and guarantees it will be an experience to remember!
