It’s Earth Day all summer long at the Orchard Hotels in San Francisco!
Eco-minded travelers to San Francisco this summer can now enjoy The Ultimate ‘Green’ Hotel package. In celebration of all things ‘green’, the package includes eco-friendly hotel accommodations, 'green' living tips and optional airport transfers via hybrid cars in addition to ‘green’ city tours aboard propane-fueled 1930s ‘Woodies’ and other classic cars.
Available now through September 30, 2007, the Orchard Hotels—both registered to be LEED certified by the US Green Building Council—offer a deluxe guestroom with complimentary breakfast each morning, Greenopia Guide (the urban dweller’s guide to green living in San Francisco), optional PlanetTran airport transfers in a hybrid Toyota Prius, and an optional San Francisco city tour in one of Mr. Toad’s eco-friendly touring cars.
The Ultimate “Green” package is $179 per night, double occupancy, not including taxes. PlanetTran airport transfers for Orchard guests are an additional $57 (SFO) and $70 (OAK) each way and all-inclusive; Mr. Toad’s 2.5 hour “Postcard San Francisco” Tour is an additional $38 for each adult, $30 for students/seniors, and $20 for children.
The discounted PlanetTran transfers and Mr. Toad's Tour must be booked separately in advance by the guest. For PlanetTran, guests must register at their website first and use ORCH as the department code when placing the car reservation in order to receive the discounted rate. For Mr. Toad's Tour, simply visit their website and type ‘EarthDay’ in the special code section to receive the Orchard rates.
