Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Offers Guests Special Preview Package at Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay

LANA'I, HI, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is proud to announce the re-opening of a unique Hawaiian experience: Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay. As the finishing touches are being put in place on the Resort and its amenities, a special Preview Package offering a fourth night free is available to guests until December 21, 2005.

Developed by Castle & Cooke, LLC and now managed by Four Seasons, Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay is a truly "private Hawai'i". For travelers yearning for the secluded pleasures and authentic beauty of Hawai'i, the Resort is the perfect option to escape from it all. The beachfront property boasts beautiful vistas of the Island's coastline from many of its 215 guest rooms and 21 suites. Guestrooms have been completely refreshed to uniquely express tropical island accents and East Asian influences. A highlight of the renovations includes the newly built 2500 sq ft Ali'i Suite. With a traditional Asian influence, the Suite's spacious interiors feature finishing touches such as a magnificent mahogany four-poster bed, imported Oriental carpets, and sophisticated furnishings. An oversized lanai in the Suite with view of the sunrise is the perfect way for guests to start the day.

Preview Season guests can experience the new Fitness Centre and Movement Studio offering Yoga, Pilates, spinning, personal training and cardio sculpting classes, as well as the full-service Spa with 11 treatment rooms, red cedar dry heat saunas, steam rooms, rainforest showers and traditional Hawaiian restorative treatments. Two award-winning and legendary championship golf courses are also available, one designed by Jack Nicklaus; and the other by Greg Norman and Ted Robinson, or guests may choose to practice their backhand on the newly resurfaced tennis courts.

Architecturally, the property reflects Hawai'i's diverse cultural origins; a theme further enhanced by five indigenous gardens, as well as pristine streams, ponds and waterfalls. The Resort sits above the white sand beach of Hulopo'e Bay overlooking the nearby island of Kaho'olawe. Brilliant red lava cliffs and rock formations provide a dramatic contrast to the blue green waters of the sea below.

The Lodge at Koele, the sister property to Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay, is set in the central highlands of the Island, combining the charm and refined atmosphere of a traditional English manor with the natural splendor of Lana'i. The Lodge will undergo extensive renovations in 2006, to complement Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay. For more information about both properties, go to http://www.fourseasons.com/manelebay.

About Lana'i Island

- Lana'i, the sixth largest of Hawai'i's islands, is known as the
"Pineapple Island" and is 13 miles (21 km) wide and 18 miles (29 km)
long, with a range in elevation from sea level to more than 3,400 feet
above.
- Quaint Lana'i City, the Island's only town and a unique 1920's
plantation style village, is in the cool central highlands region and
features Cook Island pine trees that shade the wide streets, several
churches, a handful of stores, and a post office. It houses most of
the Island's 3,000 inhabitants.
- Hulopo'e Bay hugs Lana'i Island's white sand beach and is a marine
conservation site teeming with fish, turtles and dolphins, ideal for
snorkeling and scuba diving.
- The Island's rich cultural heritage and historical sites are carefully
preserved and interpreted at Four Seasons Resort Lana'i at Manele Bay
and the Lodge at Koele.
- Tennis, championship golf, sporting clays, horseback riding, fine
dining, private picnicking, and simple relaxation can all be enjoyed
in the area.
- Wild game abound in Lana'i's central highlands, including Axis deer,
mouflon sheep, and a plethora of game birds - pheasant, quail, chukar
partridge, and wild turkey.
