Thriving Restaurant and Nightlife Brand Signs Lease for Prime Location on the Glitzy Strip

NEW YORK, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrating two months of successful operation in true larger than life fashion, the dynamic co-owners behind Hawaiian Tropic Zone Adam Hock and Dennis Riese have signed a lease for a second location in Las Vegas at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Harmon Avenue.

This second outpost will be a 14,000 square foot bi-level dining and entertainment hotspot in collaboration with celebrity chef David Burke boasting unique vistas from vehicular and pedestrian traffic on the Strip as well as a key vantage point being opposite the Planet Hollywood Casino. It will be situated in the new buzzed about Miracle Mile Mall, formerly Desert Passage.

This successive location continues the restaurant's mission to revolutionize dining by introducing the novel concept of Table Concierges, beautiful, friendly women who tend to the dining needs and enjoyment of patrons by facilitating introductions among groups and competing in a nightly interactive beauty pageant voted on by patrons.

Hawaiian Tropic Zone Las Vegas will feature unique design attributes including a long V-shaped bar and runway for the restaurant's signature nightly beauty pageants as well as a 1,000 square-foot sidewalk cafe with a generous bar, creative cocktails and misters to cool patrons during the steamy daytime desert temperatures.

In just over two months of operation, the flagship Hawaiian Tropic Zone New York City has spiced up lunchtime and re-invented happy hour in the city, hosted notable celebrities and athletes in VIP style and is the must-have hotspot for festive holiday parties among the financial, fashion and publishing industries.

"Debuting our second Hawaiian Tropic Zone in the high-visibility, international hotspot of Las Vegas is a natural and, coupled with our Time Square NYC flagship, establishes us a major player in nightlife and dining to watch," said co-owner Dennis Riese.

Inventive, modern cuisine by Executive Chef David Burke, colorful bikinis and sarongs by Nicole Miller, and interior design from Margot Silverman will give this Las Vegas interpretation an exotic flair of a fun, grown up nightlife experience for men and women to enjoy together. A private party room on the upper level will be able to accommodate celebrities, VIPs and corporate functions.

Construction on the second Hawaiian Tropic Zone begins in February 2007 for completion and opening slated for August/September 2007.
