Heli-Skiing: It's Not Just For the Boys

New York, NY - December 5, 2006: Responding to the success of its new women’s Heli-Skiing trip last season, which attracted women from all over the globe, Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH), the most renowned Heli-Skiing operator in the world, introduces two new “Chicks in the Chopper” trips in April 2007. This is a unique opportunity for women skiers to revel in the exhilaration of skiing Western Canada’s wild and untouched places in a supportive and un-intimidating group environment. The trips are for strong intermediate and advanced skiers, but no prior Heli-Skiing experience is necessary.

A typical day: after a morning stretch or yoga class and breakfast, two of CMH’s expert guides will accompany each group down run after run of fresh pristine powder and then, back at the lodge, a soothing massage, relaxing hot tub soak, a blazing fire, exceptional food and wine, lively conversation and a great bed await.
Trips are as follows:

At the Adamants: April 14 – 19, 2007. A 5-day trip for those who have previously skied powder. The price is CAN $3754 (US $3291), with a guaranteed vertical of 21,780 m.

At the Bugaboos: April 21-25, 2007. A 4-day “Introduction to Powder” trip for those with no experience skiing in powder. The price is CAN $3576 (US $3135), with a guaranteed vertical of 12,000 m.
