Hertz Announces Discount Offers for European Travel

Free Car Class Upgrade; 20 Percent Off Prestige Collection Vehicles
PARK RIDGE, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/03/2006 -- North Americans traveling in Europe this spring can take advantage of two special offers and the Hertz Affordable Europe program that make renting a Hertz vehicle even easier and less expensive.

Hertz is offering a free one car class upgrade on Affordable Europe rentals of compact through intermediate cars at participating locations in Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Valid through May 31, 2006, customers must reserve the larger vehicle, print out the "global traveler special offers" page from hertz.com and present the offer at the time of rental. The offer is available exclusively through hertz.com and Rate Code (RQ Code) WWDWEB must be entered at the time of reservation.

Hertz is also offering 20 percent off of a minimum five-day rental of vehicles in its European Prestige Collection, including the Range Rover, BMW 7 and 5 Series and Mercedes CLK. This discount offer is valid for vehicle pickups at participating locations in France, Germany and the United Kingdom through June 30, 2006. In order to receive this offer, Promotional Code (PC#) 982634 must be mentioned at time of reservation and the "global traveler special offers" page must be printed out from hertz.com and presented at the time of rental.

For further savings and value, Hertz's 2006 Affordable Europe program offers U.S. and Canadian residents traveling to Europe:

The above mentioned offers are available at participating locations and are subject to availability. Reservations must be made from the U.S. at least eight hours prior to vehicle pick-up using the appropriate PC# or RQ Code. Minimum rental period for both offers is five days. Hertz standard driver and credit qualifications for the renting location apply and black out periods may apply.
