Grand Opening of New Hilton Theatre Featuring Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Extends the Hilton Family to Broadway Audiences Nationwide

NEW YORK, April 25 /PRNewswire/ — This week’s opening of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Broadway’s newly renamed Hilton Theatre raises the curtain on an innovative marketing relationship between Clear Channel Entertainment Properties and the Hilton Family of Hotels. In January 2005, Hilton Hotels Corporation entered into a multi-year agreement with Clear Channel Entertainment to rename the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, the Hilton Theatre. This unique association will support the performing arts and provide first-class hospitality and new Hilton benefits for Broadway audiences.

Opening on Thursday, April 28, the classic, family show Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is the first Broadway production at the Hilton Theatre. Known for innovative branded live entertainment, Clear Channel Entertainment Properties is enabling the Hilton Family to tie its brands with the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang production in ways that deliver exciting new brand benefits and experiences to consumers. The joint program presents custom marketing opportunities that bridge travel, leisure and hospitality with the performing arts in non-traditional ways. This branded live entertainment initiative spans pre-event media, promotions and sweepstakes, venue branding, VIP benefits, hospitality and year-round marketing.

The Hilton Family will be the official hotel sponsor and participate in local market promotions in select Clear Channel Broadway Across America markets: Boston, Orlando, Miami, Indianapolis, Portland and Philadelphia. Additionally, the Hilton Family may be affiliated with a National Broadway Tour in Clear Channel Entertainment road markets each year. For Broadway Across America and the Hilton Theatre shows, Hilton Family Hotels may offer pre-sale, premium show tickets or weekend packages to Hilton Honors members as well as group sales tickets as corporate incentives.
