Houston Flights Cancelled Through Sunday Morning

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Based on the current forecasts for Hurricane Rita by the National Hurricane Center, AirTran Airways has cancelled all flights into and out of Houston, Texas, (Hobby) through the morning of Sunday, September 25, 2005. The airline expects to resume regularly scheduled flights into and out of Houston after 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2005.

Passengers scheduled to fly into or out of Houston on Saturday, September 24, 2005, and Sunday, September 25, 2005, are being offered the opportunity to alter their flight itineraries without change fees or fare adjustments. Every effort is being made by AirTran Airways to notify the affected passengers of these flight cancellations and to make alternate travel arrangements.
