Independence Air Announces Huge Fare Sale; Non-Stop Fares To/From Washington Starting at $29 $79 Connecting Fares on the East Coast, $99 Across The Country

DULLES, Va., April 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Low-fare airline Independence Air (NASDAQ:FLYI) is excited to announce a special fare sale for travel from April 25th through August 31st.

One-way fares to/from Washington Dulles International Airport purchased at least seven days in advance are available for as low as $29 to destinations like Tampa, West Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Raleigh-Durham and Manchester, as low as $39 to cities including Orlando, Charlotte and Pittsburgh, and as low as $69 to places like Los Angeles, Seattle and San Jose among others. Even flights to Las Vegas and San Diego are on sale for as low as $89 one-way. Lowest prices are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, other days are slightly higher.

Fares for flights connecting over Washington Dulles to/from East Coast Independence Air destinations are available for as low as $79. Fares for flights connecting over Washington Dulles to/from Independence Air's West Coast cities start at $99.

Seats are available at FLYi.com, 1-800-FLY-FLYi and travel agencies. Fares are limited and may not be available on all flights or all days. Travel must be purchased before midnight Thursday, April 28th. Fare sale details and restrictions are seen below.

Independence Air currently offers low fares to a total of 42 destinations with comfortable leather seats and Tender Loving Service(TM). Service to four more West Coast destinations begins on May 1st, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and San Jose. Independence Air fare sale fare rules: Sale fares require a 7-day advance purchase, are one-way, limited and may not be available on all flights. Heavy demand for these sale fares could cause certain days to be sold out prior to the end of the promotion. Travel must be booked online at FLYi.com or through a travel agency by 12:00 midnight EDT 4/28/05 and completed by midnight 8/31/05. Lowest sale fares on non-stop flights to/from Washington are available only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; slightly higher sale fares are available on other days of the week. Sale fares will not be available on the following days: 5/27/05, 5/30-05, 6/30/05-7/05/05. Sale fares are non- refundable but reservations may be changed for a $25 fee plus any applicable difference in fare. Sale fares do not include segment fees of up to $6.40, the September 11th Security Fee of up to $5.00 and Passenger Facility Charges of up to $9.00.
