Independence Air Announces New Fall and Winter Sale With Fares as Low as $49 One Way

DULLES, Va., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Low-fare airline Independence Air (NASDAQ:FLYi) is excited to announce a special fare sale to all its destinations for travel from October 20th through January 31st.

One-way fares to/from Washington Dulles International Airport purchased at least seven days in advance are available for as low as $49 to destinations like Boston, Chicago and New York LaGuardia (service begins 10/31), as low as $59 to Jacksonville, or as low as $69 to places like Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers and West Palm Beach among others.

Flights to/from Las Vegas are as low as $99 one way and even Independence Air's newest destination -- San Juan, Puerto Rico (service to begin on December 16th, subject to government approval) -- is on sale with fares as low as $129 one-way.

Fares for connecting flights over Washington Dulles are available for as low as $79 during the sale. Sale fares to all destinations other than San Juan are not available for travel on Fridays and Sundays. Sale fares to San Juan are only available for travel Monday through Thursday; sale fares from San Juan are only available for travel Tuesday through Friday. Full fare sale rules and restrictions are described below.

Seats are available at FLYi.com, 1-800-FLY-FLYi and travel agencies. Fares are limited and may not be available on all flights or all days. Fares must be purchased before midnight EDT Thursday, October 13th.

Independence Air fare sale fare rules: Sale fares require a 7-day advance purchase, are one-way, limited and may not be available on all flights. Heavy demand for these sale fares could cause certain days to be sold out prior to the end of the promotion. Travel must be booked online at FLYi.com, at 1-800- FLY-FLYi or through a travel agency by 12:00 midnight EST 10/13/05. Travel must begin on or after 10/20/05 and be completed by midnight 1/31/06. Sale fares are not available for travel on Fridays or Sundays (except for flights to San Juan, where they are available only Monday-Thursday, and from San Juan where they are available only Tuesday-Friday). Service to and from San Juan begins on December 16th and is subject to government approval. Sale fares will not be available to any destination on the following days: 11/22/05- 11/28/05, 12/21/05-1/2/06, 1/13/06 and 1/16/06. Sale fares are non-refundable but reservations may be changed prior to departure for a $35 fee (only $25 if change is made at FLYi.com) plus any applicable difference in fare. Sale fares do not include segment fees of up to $6.40 each way, the September 11th Security Fee of up to $5.00 each way, Passenger Facility Charges of up to $9.00 each way and U.S. Departure/Arrival Tax of $14.10 each way (San Juan only). Bookings made through 1-800-FLY-FLYi are $5 higher per passenger. Fares and fees are subject to change without notice.
