Priority Club(R) Rewards Members Can Redeem Points At Rivals' Hotels

ATLANTA, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- InterContinental Hotels Group (NYSE:IHG) (ADRs) (IHG) today is bringing back the Freddie Award- winning "Double Points/Double Miles" promotion for members of Priority Club(R) Rewards, its guest loyalty program.

Now through December 16, 2005, Priority Club Rewards members can earn double points or double miles starting with the second qualifying stay at any InterContinental(R), Crowne Plaza(R), Hotel Indigo(R), Holiday Inn(R), or Holiday Inn Express(R) property worldwide. Guests of Staybridge Suites(R) and Candlewood Suites(R) can begin earning double points or miles with their first qualifying stay.

To participate, Priority Club Rewards members must register at priorityclub.com/double or call 1-888-211-9874 prior to staying at any of the more than 3,500 InterContinental Hotels Group locations worldwide.

The "Double Points/Double Miles" promotion is popular with Priority Club Rewards members because it makes it even easier to build up a balance of points or miles that can be redeemed for gifts, gift certificates, auto rentals, hotel stays or airline tickets. And with Priority Club Rewards' "Any Hotel, Anywhere" redemption benefit, earning double points is especially attractive. Members residing in the United States can redeem their points for "Any Hotel, Anywhere" cards. These are American Express-branded prepaid lodging cards that can be used as payment at virtually any hotel worldwide where the American Express(R) Card is accepted - including rivals' hotels.

"Priority Club Rewards is continually providing ways for our members to easily experience the value and flexibility of our program," said Steve Sickel, senior vice president, Loyalty Marketing, IHG. "We are continuing to strengthen our relationship with our members by offering them the chance to earn double points or double miles and the flexibility to use those points or miles at any hotel they choose."

Priority Club Rewards is the industry's first, largest and fastest-growing hotel loyalty program, with more than 26 million members. It offers the greatest ease of use and features more sought-after benefits than any other hotel loyalty program, including Points Transfer, Points Purchase, no blackout dates on Reward Nights and no point expiration. Additionally, members have the option to stay at virtually any hotel with the "Any Hotel, Anywhere" card. Members can also redeem points for airline miles on more than one dozen partner carriers, for auto rentals, on hundreds of products and gift certificates. It is also the only hotel loyalty program that offers members a Personal Shopper, a program that allows members to exchange their points for items not found in the Rewards Catalog, including gifts for friends and family.

Enrollment in Priority Club Rewards is free. Guests can enroll by visiting priorityclub.com, by calling 1-888-211-9874 or by inquiring at the front desk of any InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites or Candlewood Suites hotel worldwide.
