New A-Rosa Kitzbühel Resort Complex to Open This Coming December 17th

ROSTOCK, Germany and KITZBÜHEL, Austria, August 29/PRNewswire/ — A 150-room palatial resort with a 3000 square meter spa and Europe’s most expansive “Schindeldach” (shingled roof) and scenic resort slated to open on the sunny side of the popular resort region, featuring a panoramic view of the Streif and Wilden Kaiser.

The man-made structures and natural landscape in this resort seem made for each other. Built in the style of a classic Tyrolean palace, A-ROSA Kitzbühel, with its view of the Streif and Wilden Kaiser, seems to belong right where it is. “We feel as though we’ve always been here,” noted manager Eva Loquenz in regard to the facility, which is ensconced behind faux-historic walls. A-ROSA Kitzbühel will open this coming Dec. 17 after three years of construction. Financed by a closed real estate fund, the EUR63 million project was initiated and realized by Cologne-based real estate developer Dr. Ebertz & Partner, and will be operated under the brand name A-Rosa by Arkona AG, which currently operates two other resorts under this name. One is Am Scharmützelsee in the Berlin region, which is one of Germany’s top golf and spa resorts, and the second (as from Sept. 1 of this year) is A-ROSA Travemünde, which is Germany’s most modern and exclusive thalosso therapy center.

Ensconced in the mountains on the Kitzbühel region’s oldest golf course, A-ROSA offers magnificent panoramic views, is situated on an approximately 15,000 square meter piece of property, and boasts 150 rooms and suites, as well as a spa facility that is as large as ten contiguous tennis courts (3000 square meters).

A-ROSA Kitzbühel guests will have at their disposal an indoor and outdoor pool, eight saunas (three of which have an outdoor view), an ice grotto, and an exclusive spa suite for ultra-private R&R. Guests can also enjoy the benefits of authentic Ayurveda treatments administered under the supervision of Indian physicians. The gentle slope on which the resort is built allows for spectacular panoramic views of the world famous Streif (site of the Hahnenkammrennen ski race) as well as the Wilden Kaiser, from the terraces on all seven stories.
