Jenny Lake Lodge Named One of The World's Best Hotels
GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, Wyo., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Grand Teton Lodge Company's Jenny Lake Lodge in Grand Teton National Park has been named "One of the World's Best Hotels" by both Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler magazines in their January 2006 issues.
The T+L 500 is a compendium of the 500 greatest hotels around the globe as chosen by Travel + Leisure readers in the magazine's annual "World's Best Awards" survey. In addition, the publication calls on its T+L insiders to provide the scoop on each property that makes the list including what distinguishes the winners from their competitors, where the best rooms are in each, and how to make the most of your stay. Jenny Lake Lodge was one of only two hotels in Wyoming that made Travel + Leisure's prestigious list.
Nearly 28,000 Conde Nast Traveler magazine subscribers weighed in with their choices for the world's top 700 hotels, resorts and cruise lines for the publication's 2006 Gold List which highlights the very best that travel has to offer. Jenny Lake Lodge was described by the magazine as "rustic, yet romantic cabins that blend into the landscape with accommodations in earth tones, and without air conditioning and televisions, put you in touch with the environment."
Jenny Lake Lodge, situated at the foot of the Grand Tetons, is the perfect mountain retreat for guests to relax in an atmosphere of rustic, yet elegant western charm. A popular romantic get away, Jenny Lake Lodge offers exclusive AAA Four-Diamond accommodations with 31 cabins and six suites located amidst the forest around the main lodge. Known for its excellence in cuisine and service, the lodge features a five-course dinner and an extensive award- winning wine list. Breakfast, dinner, horseback riding, and the use of bicycles are included for two guests in the room rate, which begins at $495 per night for the 2006 season. Jenny Lake Lodge is open from June through early October.
