Distinguished Sculptor Bronstein to Visit The Art Shop of Greensboro, NC, for Exclusive U.S. Reception

GREENSBORO, N.C., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- To world-class artists such as sculptor Leon Bronstein, committing to a reception at The Art Shop in central North Carolina could be compared to the Sundance Festival, where once a year the movie capital of Los Angeles loses out to a more intimate setting in Utah.

But, unlike the famous film competition, there is just one artistic performance to be appraised over two days in Greensboro. Art connoisseurs from across the country can contemplate and discuss his work personally with sculptor Bronstein at this genial southern venue on Mar. 24-25.

"Leon customarily exhibits in Europe and, less frequently, in the U.S. On those occasions he's visited galleries in larger markets like St. Louis, Washington, D.C. and New York," explained The Art Shop's owner, Lenny Dolin. "Thanks to our national marketing and internet presence, Bronstein's sculptures have helped us expand to serve an international client base. We've hosted outstanding receptions for other world-class artists and are delighted that Leon chose our gallery for his only U.S. visit this year."

Contemporary sculptor Bronstein was born in Russia in 1951 and moved his family to Israel in 1979, where they live today. Though his passion for sculpture had begun as a child, there would be no opportunity to demonstrate that innate talent while supporting his family as a watchmaker and draftsman.

Fate would soon open a door for Bronstein, who, struggling to find a job his first days in Israel, overheard a factory owner say that a talented sculptor he needed for a special project had moved away.

Bronstein jumped at the chance, and assuring the businessman he wouldn't have to buy the sculpture if he didn't like it, poured his heart into a career-changing artistic effort. The businessman was delighted with Bronstein's creation, and he's been captivating modern sculpture aficionados ever since.

Contact The Art Shop for an invitation to the Bronstein Reception on Mar. 24, 7-9 p.m.

The Art Shop / International is owned by Lenny and Arlene Dolin. It was established in 1899 and serves an ever-growing customer base online at http://www.artshopnc.com.
