On Command to Bring Live College Football and Basketball Sports Packages to Hotel Rooms
Leading In-Room Entertainment Company Signs Agreement With ESPN to Bring Out-of-Market Football and Basketball Games to Lodging Industry
DENVER, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- On Command Video Corporation, a leading provider of in-room interactive entertainment for the hotel industry and its guests, and ESPN, the Worldwide Leader in Sports, have agreed to an agreement whereby On Command will offer ESPN's GamePlan and Full Court services to its hotel customers. The agreement also covers ESPN's other pay-per-view programming including boxing, martial arts and poker championships.
Hotel customers will be able to purchase an entire package of games as well as individual events. ESPN GamePlan and ESPN Full Court games are live and will be subject to normal blackout guidelines on a market by market basis. ESPN carries more than 150 college football games and 450 college basketball games on ESPN GamePlan and ESPN Full Court.
