The Goose Has Landed: Loose Goose Wine Festival Arrives in the Santa Clarita Valley
SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Loose Goose Wine Festival arrives in the Santa Clarita Valley, October 15-16, featuring renowned vineyards offering the finest in wine tasting encounters. Located 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, Bridgeport Park in Valencia provides the ideal backdrop for an impressive gathering of 100 vineyards, up to 50 luxury-related vendors and weekend entertainment.
Destined to become the premiere wine festival in the Los Angeles region, the event offers guests an opportunity to sample what the world of wine has to offer today. An exclusive mix of large, medium, and smaller up-and-coming vineyards exclusively hand-selected to participate by invitation only are expected to attend.
"It's all about the wine," explains Peter Goossens, founder of The Loose Goose, a personal wine purveying and consulting company based in Santa Clarita. "The festival promises to provide a unique, first-of-its-kind experience for festivalgoers traveling to the region."
Captivating the senses, a visual horizon of canopied tents draped in thousands of yards of fabrics transforms Bridgeport Park in Valencia into vineyard streets and vendor villages evoking the enchantment of old world European post harvest festivals.
Designed to complement the wine tasting experience, light fare prepared by RSVP Catering will be provided. Exclusive to the Loose Goose Wine Festival, a climate-controlled champagne sampling tent will be available with a ticket purchase upgrade. Live barrel making demonstrations, cigar rolling and musical entertainment round out the festival experience.

A portion of the proceeds benefits the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation and the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund.
