The New Year's Eve Gala, held in the Ocean Ballroom, will begin with an unforgettable dinner including lobster bisque, winter field greens, filet mignon, flash-seared local grouper, foie gras-infused whipped potatoes, seasonal petite vegetables and Chef Lonny's festive themed desserts. Following dinner, lively entertainment by The Bobby Stringer Band will keep guests reveling until 1 a.m. An open bar will be available throughout the night with a champagne toast at midnight.
During the day, guests can lounge under the sun by one of the resort pools or ice skate in the rink stationed especially for the holiday season on the Grand Event Lawn. This 5,000-square-foot skating rink, covered with a free- span tent, will be decorated with holiday foliage and sparkling lights. Complimentary ice skates are provided to all guests.
Indoors, guests can relax by a roaring fire and take in the majestic sight of the 40-foot Christmas tree in the lobby. Ornate wreaths, decorated firs and poinsettias will evoke the breathtaking Old World Charm the resort is known for.
