Market Metrix Survey Ranks Wingate Inn(R) Brand Top in Its Class

PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — A national Market Metrix consumer survey has ranked the Wingate Inn chain top for guest satisfaction in the lodging industry’s midscale without-food-and-beverage segment.

In announcing the results of its first quarter 2005 Market Metrix Hospitality Index, the San Rafael, Calif.-based research firm said the survey was based on responses from 35,000 consumer interviews and reviews of 133 lodging brands.

The Wingate Inn brand was ranked above brands in its competitive set including Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, Fairfield Inn by Marriott and Drury Inns.
