Marriott International Expands Distribution Relationship With Orbitz

New Partnership Provides Even More Brand Name Merchant Hotel Rates to Orbitz Customers

CHICAGO, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Orbitz, the faster, easier way to find the trip you want, announced today that it has expanded its relationship with Marriott International, Inc. to provide Orbitz.com customers with merchant hotel rates at Marriott hotels and resorts around the world. Marriott has agreed to make more of its inventory of hotel rooms available to Orbitz’ growing customer base of travelers.

Previously, Orbitz offered merchant hotel rates at Marriott properties through its agreement with TravelWeb, of which Marriott was a founder. Now, as part of this new relationship with Marriott, Orbitz is able to offer its customers merchant rates directly from Marriott’s central reservation system.
