Metro New York’s First Food Magazine Arrives!

NEW YORK, March 29 /PRNewswire/ — The New York metropolitan area has never had a magazine devoted to its explosive culinary scene, until now. On March 30th, Crave NEW YORK, the high-quality, glossy quarterly, hits New York. With 50,000 copies in controlled circulation, Crave will be available at select restaurants, specialty markets, and boutique hotels throughout the tri-state area.

For Crave NEW YORK readers, food is not a mere diversion, but a lifestyle, an integral part of the fabric of their lives. It’s written for New Yorkers who frequently dine out, enjoy cooking and entertaining, and have a passion for all things food. Crave showcases the artisans who feed our cravings-from chefs and caterers to farmers and vintners-featuring not just the products of their crafts, but the artisans themselves. So in our spring issue, instead of restaurant reviews, readers get a behind-the-scenes look at opening night at BLT Fish with its star chef Laurent Tourondel. They join Amy Scherber in her home kitchen as she whips up a great meal perfect for entertaining any night of the week. We’re not just offering recipes for ramps, the gorgeous wild leeks that invade New York farmers markets in spring; we’re taking readers to the ground from which they grow.

In each issue, we’ll also bring readers wine advice from masters in the field, the food of an exciting neighborhood explored in depth, local goodies that the editors at Crave love, the best-of-the-best food and wine events, and great recipes, including, on the last page, a special recipe to indulge their sweet-tooth.

Crave NEW YORK is brought to you by Taste Publications, LLC, which was founded by self-proclaimed foodie Marissa Goldberg and food-loving graphic designer Bryan Drago. Both have worked in the food industry in New York and both continue to crave the gastronomic pleasures only a city like New York can provide. All recipes are tested with help from Crave’s unofficial mascot and recipe taster-the office bulldog, Bruno.
