Airline Continues to Serve Customers with Connecting Flights to the Region

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Mexicana Airlines has temporarily discontinued all nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Cancun. Flights have been cancelled since October 19 due to damages caused by Hurricane Wilma in the region. However, the airline continues to provide customers with service to Cancun connecting through other Mexican cities. In fact, Mexicana currently offers six daily flights to Cancun connecting via Mexico City.

For all ticketed passengers who were holding reservations between now and January 31, 2006, Mexicana is giving them the opportunity to rebook their flights to any other Mexicana destination within the Mexican Republic, waiving all customary reissue fees, charging only the fare difference, if applicable, provided clients contact the airline prior to November 15th. In addition, clients may choose to rebook their vacation for travel up to March 31, 2006 subject to availability. If customers are unsure of their new travel dates or destination, Mexicana will extend a credit voucher for future use for a nominal fee.
