Michigan Fuel Prices Are Down 8.8 Cents, Says AAA Survey

DEARBORN, Mich., Dec. 27 /PRNewswire/ — Michigan self-serve regular gasoline prices dropped an average 8.8 cents over the past week, reports AAA. The current statewide average of $2.198 is 45.5 cents per gallon higher than last year at this time, when the price was $1.743.

The average for self-serve regular decreased 5.6 cents in Metro Detroit this week, with the average at $2.173 per gallon. A year ago, the Metro Detroit price was 45.6 cents per gallon lower at $1.717.
