Midwest Airlines Introduces New Lower-Priced Excursion Fares

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Midwest Airlines today announced the introduction of new lower-priced roundtrip excursion fares. The fares are available now for travel on Midwest Airlines — including both Signature and Saver Service flights — and Midwest Connect.

The new fares require purchase 21 or more days in advance and a Friday- or Saturday-night stay. The lowest fares apply to travel Monday through Saturday; slightly higher fares apply to Sunday travel. Seats are limited and other restrictions apply.

“These fares are the result of requests from customers who told us that their schedules were flexible and that they were willing to buy tickets at least three weeks before they travel,” said Scott R. Dickson, senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “Those who meet the advance purchase requirements and other conditions of the new fares can always find the lowest prices at midwestairlines.com — without the extra ticketing and service fees charged by online travel agencies.”

Today’s announcement is part of a series of product and service enhancements focusing on customer value and convenience that America’s top-rated carrier has launched throughout 2005.
