CHICAGO, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Taking a weekend jaunt is even easier for United Mileage Plus(R) members between July 15 and Dec. 31, 2005, as they may earn a “short trip” through redeemable miles faster than usual. During this time, it will require up to 40 percent fewer miles to get a United Economy(R) Saver Award ticket on United, United Express(R) and Ted(SM) nonstop flights no more than 750 air miles each way, booked on .*

Only 15,000 redeemable miles gets members a roundtrip Saver Award ticket in United Economy, which normally requires 25,000 miles. For members interested in flying United First(R) or United Business(R), only 30,000 miles are required for a roundtrip Saver Award ticket which normally requires 40,000 miles. The offer applies to qualifying travel within the 48 contiguous states and between the U.S. and Canada.
