Mohegan Sun Unveils Spectacular Holiday Experience and Light Show

Becker Group Partners With Leading Hotel and Casino To Create One-of-a-Kind Holiday Attraction

BALTIMORE, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ — The Becker Group, one of the nation’s premier experiential marketing firms, today announced the unveiling of a spectacular holiday experience at the Mohegan Sun hotel and casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. The attraction features a unique fusion of traditional holiday decor with the heritage, symbols and artwork of the Mohegan tribe. The holiday experience includes such sights as a one-of-a-kind 18-foot tall “Winter Wonderland Water Tree;” a 66-foot “Aurora Borealis Tree” featuring a 15-minute light show; a “Sky Tree” that appears to sit atop a cloud; a custom light display cast atop Mohegan’s stunning seven-story indoor waterfall; and a 17-foot tall Gingerbread House — made of edible materials. The attraction launches today and will be on display through January 7.

“In just ten years since its opening, Mohegan Sun has become legendary for its status as one of the Northeast’s most popular destinations for gaming, fine dining and entertainment, as well as its incredible decor and attractions,” said Glenn Tilley, President of the Becker Group. “We worked closely with the team at Mohegan Sun to create an exhibition that brings the holidays to life by both introducing exciting new experiences and adding creative holiday twists to the hotel and casino’s trademark attractions, all while honoring the heritage and legacy of the Mohegan tribe.”

The holiday experience at the Mohegan Sun includes:

* Winter Wonderland Water Tree – a one-of-a-kind 18-foot tree built
almost entirely out of water that is internally lit to provide a
stunning light show to visitors. The magnificent sight is placed atop
a replica of a frozen pond in the lobby of the Mohegan Sun hotel

* Aurora Borealis Tree – a towering 66-foot custom design tree at the
Mohegan Sun motel gas station containing 70,000 light bulbs to deliver
a dazzling 15 minute light show, at the top and bottom of every hour

* Sky Tree – located in the famed Sky Casino, the “magical tree” appears
to sit atop a bed of clouds and spiral eternally upwards

* Taughannick Falls – Becker produced a custom light display of
snowflakes that will be reflected upon the hotel’s trademark
seven-story, 55-foot indoor waterfall

* Gingerbread House – the 17-foot tall house is constructed of edible
materials including real gingerbread and holiday candies, and located
in the Spring Gateway
