Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour Takes to the Road

OMAHA, Neb., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ — The Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour, a unique interactive experience that conveys the excitement and adventure of the Wild Kingdom, will hit the road this fall with appearances at fairs and festivals in seven states.

Traveling the country in several distinctive semitrailer trucks, the Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour is a 75-foot by 75-foot multifaceted experience that promises to be the highlight of the fairs and festivals it visits.

Highlights of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour include:

* Experiencing the sights, sounds and scents of three vastly different
habitats — the tropical rainforest, the African savanna and ice-bound
Polar regions — featuring life-like animatronic animals, realistic
foliage and a few surprises.
* Hands-on activities for young adventurers.
* An air-conditioned theater featuring exciting moments from current
Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom episodes airing on the Animal Planet
* A wild photo backdrop with free pictures for everyone.
* A unique tribute to the original Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and to
legendary host Marlin Perkins, who appears via new technology to
welcome visitors.
* An instant win game in which everyone takes home a prize, and one lucky
adventurer will win an African safari.

The Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour will premiere at the Chrysler Arts, Beats and Eats Festival in Pontiac, Mich., Sept. 2-5, and will visit six other states in 2005. It will hit the road again in 2006 and 2007, extending its reach from coast to coast, Hildenbiddle said.

“Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour is one of the most elaborate, state-of-the-art mobile displays in existence, and we want as many people as possible to experience it. We have designed our tour schedule with that goal in mind, and we’ll have the opportunity to visit cities throughout the country over the next few years,” Hildenbiddle said.

Aspen Marketing Services of Chicago designed, built and is handling tour logistics in close coordination with Mutual of Omaha.
