Ring in the New Year with a Midnight Elephant-Back Safari
|
HOEDSPRUIT, SOUTH AFRICA (08/06)—Welcome in the New Year with a midnight elephant-back safari offered at Camp Jabulani near Hoedspruit and Kruger National Park. The one-of-a-kind safari is being offered to guests of the camp, including a midnight champagne toast, while being surrounded by the beauty of the African bush. The New Year’s package is $930.00 per person, double occupancy and includes champagne toast, all meals, game-viewing, elephant-back safaris, accommodations, liquor, laundry and transfers from the Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport.
Elephant-back safaris are much different from those in a vehicle, because animals do not fear the elephants, therefore allowing for a much closer interaction with the animals, including Africa’s big five. Each guest has the option of an elephant-back safari, driving safari and walking safari while at Camp Jabulani. Night safaris are one of the most exciting of them all, since it is the time when the “big cats” come out to play, allowing the possible opportunity for guests to see them in action.
Each of the camp’s six ultra-luxury suites is complete each with a private deck, plunge pool, fireplace, well-stocked private bar, air-conditioning and a generous size bath. Each suite has its own private butler to attend to every need or desire a guest may have. The open-air lounge and dining area reflect the very finest African style using rich textures that appeal to contemporary tastes. For more information on Camp Jabulani:
