October Snowstorm Pounds Colorado Ski Resorts - Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail and Beaver Creek

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- An October snowstorm pounded Vail Resorts' (NYSE:MTN) ski resorts in Summit and Eagle counties, dumping more than 30 inches of snow on the slopes at Breckenridge and more than a foot at Keystone (17 inches), Beaver Creek (16 inches) and Vail (13 inches).
Mother Nature blanketed the slopes last week with a dusting of snow. Temperatures have been dipping into the 20s at night, prompting Keystone to fire up their snow guns last week.
The new snow has skiers and snowboarders eagerly anticipating the start of the season. The following are tentative opening dates for the resorts:
Nov. 11 - Keystone and Breckenridge
Nov. 18 - Vail
Nov. 23 - Beaver Creek

Breckenridge from $320 per person including lifts and lodging

Vail from $413 per person including lifts and lodging
Buy three nights of lodging and three days of skiing and get your fourth night and day free. Valid Jan. 16 - Feb. 19.
Beaver Creek from $333 per person including lifts and lodging
Purchase four nights of lodging and a four-day lift ticket per person this winter at Beaver Creek for just $333 per person. Valid Jan. 2 - 18.
