Personalized Trip Itineraries for England Now Available
PlanetMyWay offers detailed itineraries, personalized to suit the vacationer’s interests. Sisters launch web site to share wealth of travel knowledge of the United Kingdom and abroad.
Central England, U.K. (PRWEB) August 14, 2006 -- Vacation time is a precious opportunity to relax, do some sight-seeing and experience a new culture.
Too often, the stress of planning ruins what may have been the perfect trip. Sisters Jo Brookes and Sam Brookes started PlanetMyWay to help alleviate the stress of traveling by providing detailed and personalized itineraries, which focus on the client’s interests.
According to Jo Brookes, some clients may be interested in exploring their own personal family history and genealogy, while others might want to visit the homes of literary heroes or the locations of favorite films, or just get a unique sample of local delights and hidden attractions.
"From our base in the heart of England, we are ideally placed to help you make the most of your vacation,” Jo Brookes said.
While the company specializes in Great Britain, “we’re happy to help with any destination world-wide,” she added.
The site is not a travel agency or a booking service.
“We are not affiliated or associated with any other organization, so you can be sure that the advice on our itineraries is unbiased,” according to the Web site, located at http://www.planetmyway.co.uk. As opposed to guidebooks, which go out of date quickly, PlanetMyWay itineraries provide travelers with up-to-the-minute information, tips, opening times, prices, driving directions and locations for attractions, all tailored to meet their specific requirements.
PlanetMyWay differs from comp because they do not sell complete tours, rather they speak to the client and determine their interests first and then recommend accommodation, attractions and eateries to suit.
“We want you to spend your vacation doing the things that interest you. Our service is for people who have specific interests, as well as those who just don’t want to follow the herd,” said Jo Brookes. “We provide the freedom to go where you want, at your own pace, combined with the security of knowing what to expect.”
The site evolved from the sisters’ love for travel.
“We have traveled all over the world and visited the United States many times,” Jo Brookes said. “Each time, we researched our trips thoroughly to make sure we see the best that any particular area has to offer. That process is time consuming, and many people just don’t have that time to spare. We have found that people love to share their knowledge and help us find the hidden gems. Now, we want to share our knowledge so people visiting Great Britain see the best we have to offer, not just the clichés.”
In addition to providing personalized travel itineraries, PlanetMyWay offers some pre-produced itineraries available to download instantly and also produces “Family Packs” to assist people researching their family history. “It is reckoned that over 70 percent of North Americans can trace their history back to the British Isles,” explained the sisters. “We can provide information to assist them.
PlanetMyWay has teamed up with the Leisure Pass Group to offer the Great British Heritage Pass which allows admission to over 600 historic sites.”
