Philadelphia's Hometown Tour Operator Lands National Awards
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Readers of two of the most prestigious trade magazines in the travel industry -- Travel Weekly and Recommend Magazine - named Philadelphia-based Apple Vacations "Best Tour Operator to the Caribbean." Travel Weekly readers also named Apple Vacations "Best Tour Operator to Mexico" for the second year in a row.
Travel Weekly's Readers Choice Awards honors excellence in hospitality, cruise, airline, tour and destination marketing segments both within the United States and internationally. Recommend Magazine's 9th Annual Readers' Choice Awards were decided by travel agents in the categories of favorite destination, tour operator, hotel, airline and car rental company, among others.
Each year, Apple Vacations sends millions of Eastern-based singles, couples and families to Mexico and the Caribbean on more than 60 weekly charter flights departing from Philadelphia, Newark, JFK, Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Atlanta.
