Millennium Hotels Managed Property Is One of the First NYC Deluxe Hotels to Become Fully Non-Smoking
NEW YORK, NY – May 31, 2006 – Beginning June 1, 2006, The Premier will become a fully non-smoking facility. The hotel’s smoking rooms (24 rooms in total) will undergo a special deep cleaning process prior to its conversion to non-smoking rooms. 101 of The Premier’s rooms are currently non-smoking. This conversion marks The Premier as one of the first New York City deluxe hotel rooms to become non-smoking. The Premier is owned and managed by Millennium Hotels and Resorts, North America.
The Premier is located at 133 West 44th Street in the heart of Times Square adjacent to the Millennium Broadway. The Premier features a wide-range of signature amenities and guest benefits such as late checkout, high speed Internet access, daily newspaper delivery and use of the Premier Lounge, where guests can enjoy complimentary continental breakfasts, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and other beverages. Guests also have access to a personalized 24-hour concierge service, which provides services such as securing tickets to a Broadway play or making reservations at a restaurant.
Each Premier room is notably more spacious than your average Manhattan hotel room and features floor to ceiling windows and custom-built beds with a sycamore wood frame and plush mattresses with high-thread count bedspreads and linens. The seating area is furnished with inviting sofas and throw pillows. Other features include an oversized desk, comfortable terry cloth bathrobes, and a large marble bathroom with separate walk-in shower and a deep European soaking tub. The Premier’s elevators also have an added safety feature where it can only be operated by a hotel issued Premier key card.
Editor’s Note: Interviews with The Premier’s management team to speak about the room conversions available upon request.
