300 New Jobs Mean Daily Cruises for Detroiters

DETROIT, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The City of Detroit and Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick welcomes the new 1900 passenger, 5-story, Detroit Princess Riverboat for lunchtime, dinner, and entertainment cruises. The Princess provides over 300 new jobs and will embark daily from the foot of Hart Plaza. Detroit public officials are scheduled to visit the ship on Thursday, June 9th at 1:00pm. "I am thrilled that the people of Detroit will have the ability to enjoy such a beautiful ship," said Captain John Chamberlain, owner and commander of the Princess. "We have such a great riverfront, and I can't wait to be part of it."
