The Alamo Joins The Great Wall of China, the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Canyon as One of Twelve Worldwide Sites to Be Featured in the Filming of the 'Wonders of the World' Music Series Produced by Doc Brown Entertainment
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. and SAN ANTONIO, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Sports & Entertainment, Inc. (DSNE) and subsidiary Doc Brown Entertainment announce "Remember the Alamo" -- the filming of a benefit concert featuring performances by The Gipsy Kings, Lyle Lovett, Los Lobos, and The Arc Angels at the historic Alamo in beautiful San Antonio, TX. Latino Comedian/Actor Paul Rodriguez will emcee.
"Remember the Alamo" marks the first time The Alamo has permitted a concert on its grounds. It is approved by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and 100% of the $100 ticket sales will go to The Alamo. Monies raised will be used to fund restoration efforts for the Long Barrack. Only 2,000 tickets are available for purchase.
DSNE and Doc Brown have executive produced integrated sports and entertainment properties globally. "Remember the Alamo" is the second chapter in the groundbreaking, twelve first-ever landmark 'Wonders of the World' music series that unites performances by world-class musical artists with the world's most storied historical sites, including the first-ever concert atop the Great Wall of China. Locations for future concerts include the Eiffel Tower, Tiananmen Square in Beijing, Gorky Park in Moscow, the Grand Canyon and Mt. Rushmore. All Wonders of the World concerts are filmed in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound for worldwide distribution via film, television and DVD.
In late 2004, DSNE and Doc Brown made a significant mark on the International entertainment landscape by producing the 'first ever' concert "The Great Wall of China concert", a pop music spectacular featuring International superstars Alicia Keys, Boyz II Men, Cyndi Lauper, Doyle Bramhall II, and Nellie McKay performing at the base of the Great Wall of China near Beijing.

Lyle Lovett A singer-songwriter and Texas favorite, Lovett won a 1989 Grammy for Best Male Country Vocal Performance. His albums, the first of which was released in 1986, incorporated elements of country, Western, folk, swing, jazz, bebop, blues and gospel music.
Paul Rodriquez a nationally known Latino comedian and actor will emcee the events and be the 'first ever' stand up comedian performing at The Alamo.
