Royal Caribbean International's Entertainment Experts Now Available for Land-Based Events
MIAMI, April 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Royal Caribbean International is bringing its outstanding entertainers to shore. Royal Caribbean Productions, the cruise line's in-house production company, is now available to perform at land-based corporate events and private functions. To give event planners a preview of the entertainment options available, the company has launched a new web site -- http://www.royalcaribbeanproductions.com/ -- that also includes information on how aspiring dancers, singers and comedians worldwide can audition to join the company's ensemble.
"We have an outstanding team of performers and producers who are experts at getting an audience energized and caught up in the excitement," said Peter Compton, associate vice president, Entertainment, for Royal Caribbean International. "We also have a wide variety of acts and shows that can be adapted to suit any event's entertainment needs."
Royal Caribbean Productions has been creating dynamic musical revues since 1990. In 2001, the cruise line opened the Royal Caribbean Productions Rehearsal Studios in Hollywood, Fla. Four shows can be rehearsed in the studios at any given time, complete with dancers, musicians, singers, choreographers, vocal coaches, musical directors, and costume and set designers.
Once a show is perfected on land, it heads to sea for its debut. There are currently 42 different shows in rotation. From "West End to Broadway," featuring selections from the biggest Broadway & London West End musicals such as "We Will Rock You," "Kiss Me Kate," "Starlight Express" and "Sunset Blvd," to "Can't Stop the Rock," a tribute to popular music from movies old and new, the shows appeal to guests of all ages.
The new web site features video montages of select performances, as well as photos of various shows, costumes, and set designs, to give event planners a feel for the range of shows the line offers. Royal Caribbean Productions works with planners to create an exciting entertainment program tailored to fit each event.
Performances can be booked at a variety of lengths, from 10 minutes up to a full-length show, and can be done in full costume or concert style. Event planners can contact MaryAnn Delany at 954-925-0417 or at mdelany@rccl.com for more information and pricing. In addition, singers, dancers, comedians and musicians aspiring to become part of the show can check http://www.royalcaribbeanproductions.com/ for audition dates and locations.
Royal Caribbean International is a global cruise brand currently with 19 ships in service and two under construction. The line also offers unique land- tour vacations in Alaska, Canada and Europe through its cruisetour division.
