See the San Juan Islands and their resident Orcas in style this coming year. San Juan Safaris has announced it will be building a new Coast Guard Certified vessel for 49 passengers. The boat will offer many amenities, including a heated indoor cabin, outside seating, and a walk around deck. As with the company’s other popular vessels, this craft will also be stocked with binoculars, field guides, wildlife books, a hydrophone for listening to the whales, jackets, blankets, and of course, professional naturalist guides to answer all questions and talk about the Orca Whales and other marine mammals. Guides also discuss local geography and the eco system of the area.

The new vessel will be moored in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island just two hours north of Seattle. Because of its size, stability, covered space, and cabin, this vessel will also be available for weddings, reunions, team building, and private charter business.
