Santa Claus Partners with the Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa

Lake Placid, N.Y.,– The Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa, the Adirondack’s premier luxury lakefront resort, will premiere its exclusive Santa Turndown Service during the 2006 holiday season.

On December 26 of last year, Santa made reservations for him and Mrs. Claus at the Mirror Lake Inn for their annual pre-Christmas getaway. Their vacation at the Mirror Lake Inn will be from December 15 – 23, 2006. Santa would like to keep the trip discreet, but has agreed to spend some quality time with children visiting the Mirror Lake Inn during his vacation by offering the Santa Turndown Service.

If parents request the service, Santa will arrive at their room at a designated time to greet children, take their Christmas lists, share some milk and cookies and tuck them into bed. The Santa Turndown Service will be offered December 15 – 23, 2006 at no extra charge to parents.

“Every Christmas when I fly over Lake Placid, I am amazed at how beautiful the Mirror Lake Inn looks with all its twinkling white lights,” commented Santa Claus. “So when I finished my Christmas run last year, I decided to call the inn. They told me that they decorate with over 100,000 outside lights, six themed Christmas trees, and other elegant decorations. I immediately knew this was the place for me and I can’t wait to spend some time with the children there.”
