Free Nintendo and Seattle Discounts at the Mayflower Park Hotel

SEATTLE, June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Book an action-packed family vacation with the Family Fun Package at the Mayflower Park Hotel. "Seattle is the perfect place to combine outdoor summer adventures with big city attractions," said Stacia Williams, Director of Marketing for the historic, family-run Mayflower Park Hotel. "Families can take the Monorail right from the hotel (or hop in a taxi) to the Seattle Center to visit Pacific Science Center, IMAX Theater and world famous Experience Music Project. Kids get a 360-degree bird's eye view of Mount Rainier, Puget Sound and Seattle from 650 feet above ground on the Space Needle's observation deck. Free bus service takes families to the nearby waterfront (also within walking distance) where the Seattle Aquarium, sightseeing boats and Washington State Ferries are daily amusements.

The Family Fun Package includes two adult tickets and two children's tickets for the following: admission to the observation deck of the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, and Pacific Science Center. That's not all! Valet parking at the Mayflower Park and a special turn down service just for the kids (or the kid in all of us) complete with one hour of complimentary Nintendo. Upon checking into the Mayflower Park Hotel, a special gift from the hotel is given to each child: insulated lunch totes with a stuffed animal, crayons and coloring sheets designed specifically for the Mayflower Park.

Rates for the Mayflower Park Hotel "Family Fun Package," start at $265 for a deluxe room with two queen beds. For those who would like an adjoining room for the kids we offer a corner room with a queen size bed and an adjoining room with two twin beds (half off) for $369. Retail cost on this package ranges from $384 to $552, so the savings are over $120 for either offer.

Extra package tickets are available for additional children. Reservations: 206-382-6990, 800-426-5100 or e-mail at mayflowerpark@mayflowerpark.com. Rates are based on a space available basis and are good through December 30, 2005.

Built in 1927, the beautifully renovated Mayflower Park Hotel is one of the last remaining locally owned and independent hotels in the Seattle area. It is a member of The National Trust Historic Hotels of America(R) that includes such other notables as The Greenbrier in West Virginia; and, The Brown Palace in Denver. The hotel is also home to the award-winning Martini bar, Oliver's, and Seattle's Best Mediterranean Restaurant, Andaluca Restaurant.

Located at 405 Olive Way in Seattle, the Mayflower Park Hotel is operated by local owners Birney and Marie Dempcy and managed by Paul Ishii, General Manager.
