Six Flags Elitch Gardens Offers More Entertainment, Renewed Commitment to Family Experience and Guest Service
Parks Across the Nation are Celebrating Six Flags' 45th Anniversary All Year Long
DENVER, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Six Flags Elitch Gardens, Denver's own downtown theme park, celebrates Six Flags' 45th Anniversary and is inviting its guests to join the celebration all season long.
The park is offering more of an overall entertainment experience for the family -- including new shows, live street entertainment, two daily parades ending with free birthday cake and more fun and interaction with new characters. Plus, Island Kingdom Water Park(free with admission) is now opening an hour earlier at 10 am.
In addition, Six Flags is making a commitment to improving the guest experience by providing a better park environment. Examples include the parks' non-smoking policy and its emphasis on universal customer service training for park employees.
New in the Trocadero Theatre! The Amazing Acrobats of China is a visually impressive show highlighting the wondrous talents of the world-renowned Chinese acrobats. The feats of these performers are unmatched as they bring a seemingly impossible level of acrobatic skill to the stage. Part dance, part martial arts, and 100% showmanship, behold the "wow factor" as The Amazing Acrobats of China tumble and twirl their way into the spotlight.
Six Flags Elitch Gardens is also tripling the number of Warner Bros. characters at the park. The JUSTICE LEAGUE debuts featuring the DC Comics Super Heroes BATMAN, ROBIN, WONDER WOMAN, GREEN LANTERN and THE FLASH. And don't forget the lovable cartoon characters Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Slyvester, Daffy, Taz, Foghorn Leghorn and many more. The JUSTICE LEAGUE Super Heroes and Bugs Bunny and friends will be strategically located throughout the park to greet guests, sign autographs, take photos and participate in new and enhanced shows, character breakfasts and other special appearances.
These new entertainment enhancements are also accompanied by live street entertainment and new festivals such as the Colorado Youth Sports Festival, La Fiesta de Six Flags and many more to be announced.
Guests will also find their trip to the park is more comfortable. All Six Flags parks have instituted a smoke-free policy. In addition, Six Flags Elitch Gardens is adding new team members who serve as park ambassadors to greet guests, provide entertainment and comic relief, and offer assistance with any directions, questions or concerns.
"Six Flags Elitch Gardens is reaffirming a commitment to great guest service and family entertainment, and Coloradoans will notice a difference the minute they walk into the park," said Larry Litton, Six Flags Elitch Gardens General Manager. "These exciting developments only mark the beginning of all the exciting changes to come, this season and beyond. More than ever before, Six Flags Elitch Gardens is the best family entertainment value in Denver."
Six Flags Elitch Gardens opens for the 2006 season April 22. Season Passes are on sale now at sixflags.com for only $54.99. For more information, guests can visit sixflags.com or call 303-595-4386.
