Southwest Airlines Showers Customers With Super Low Fares This Spring

DALLAS, March 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Get out your umbrella because Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) is showering Texas and Heartland Customers with super low fares for spring. These low fares range from $39 to $69 one-way, are only offered on http://www.southwest.com/ , and will be available for a limited time.

* $39 one-way fares between Austin and Corpus Christi, between Dallas
and Little Rock, and between Harlingen and San Antonio.
* $69 one-way fares between Amarillo and Corpus Christi, between El Paso
and Oklahoma City, and between Midland and Tulsa.

“Spring has arrived and low fares are blooming on southwest.com,” said Joyce Rogge, Southwest’s senior vice president of marketing. “With fares this low, Southwest Customers will be able to stop and smell the flowers all across the heartland from South Texas to Tulsa.”

The internet-only fares are available for purchase March 17, 2005, through April 21, 2005, and are valid for travel from March 29, 2005, through August 3, 2005. Tickets must be purchased at least 14 days before departure. Seats are limited and will not be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods. Fares do not include a $3.20 segment fee per takeoff and landing. Fares do not include airport- assessed passenger facility charges of up to $9 one-way and federal September 11 security fee of up to $5 one-way. Tickets are nonrefundable but may be applied toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest Airlines. Fares are valid on published, scheduled service only. Fares may be purchased one-way and may be combined with other fares. When combining fares, all ticketing restrictions apply. Any change in itinerary will result in an increase in fare. Fares are not available through the Group Desk and are not necessarily common rated in Houston.
