Historic Ski Town Takes Vacation Experience to New High

Stowe, Vermont (August 1, 2006)  Long regarded as the heart and soul of this legendary ski town, the village of Stowe is taking the Vermont vacation experience to a new level. Along with the multi-million dollar renovation of Stowe Mountain Resort, Stowe business owners and town planners are stepping it up with everything from new sidewalks and bike lanes on Mountain Road, a state of the art indoor swimming pool, new restaurants, expanded shopping, and renovations at local lodging properties.

- Room renovations and amenity upgrades at Stone Hill Inn and Golden Eagle Resort.
- New and renovated restaurants including Norma’s at Topnotch, Hana Japanese Steakhouse, Rusty Nail, The Matterhorn, and the Stowe Inn Tavern, Steve & Erica’s at Ten Acres Lodge, Piecasso, Flavor, The Restaurant Swisspot, and Pie in the Sky.
