Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower Presents Annual Citywide Fourth of July Fireworks Display and 'Independence Pool Party' on Sunday, July 3
LAS VEGAS, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower will present its annual citywide fireworks display and "Independence Pool Party" on Sunday, July 3, announced American Casino & Entertainment Properties officials.
For the fourth year in a row, the world-famous Fireworks by Grucci, Inc. will produce a display that will be launched from the Stratosphere's North parking garage and visible anywhere in the Las Vegas Valley. The display will start at 9 p.m. and will be 10 minutes in duration. Grucci was the fireworks contractor for the recent "Americas Party 2005: Celebrating 100 Years of Neon" in Las Vegas and President George W. Bush's Inauguration.
"Our annual Fourth of July pool party gets better and better each year. This year we will again provide one of the best fireworks displays in the city, and the best place to experience it will be at the party," said Randy Fine, senior vice president of marketing for American Casino & Entertainment Properties.
The Independence Pool Party will be located on the Stratosphere's pool and recreation deck on the eighth floor of the Premier room tower. The party will start at 7 p.m. and will last until 10 p.m. The price of admission is $75 per person. Admission includes unlimited food and drinks. The barbeque style buffet will include baby back ribs, chicken wings, hot dogs, baked beans, hamburgers, corn on the cob, assorted fruit and ice cream. Drinks will include water, soda, draft beer, wine and well drinks including strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas.
A live band, Flipside, will provide continuous entertainment accompanied by go-go dancers. Guests will be welcome to swim in the Stratosphere's expansive pool and spa during the party. The pool deck will also allow guests to have the best up close view of the fireworks display. Each pool party ticket also comes with one ticket for the $1,000 Spin & Win drawings that will take place in the casino from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. The Independence Pool Party is open to the public. All guests must be 21 years old or older to attend.
In addition to the Fourth of July Pool Party, the Stratosphere Tower offers several options for viewing the fireworks. The Top of the World Restaurant and Lounge will be open as usual, giving guests unparalleled views of the display. The Tower's indoor and outdoor observation decks will also provide excellent views of the display.
