AirTran Airways Launches 24-Hour Sale For Travel To/From Atlanta Booked on Airtran.com

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today launched a sale for travel to/from its hub in Atlanta with fares starting as low as $49 each way when booked on the airline’s Web site at http://www.airtran.com/. “We’re proud to be Atlanta’s low fare carrier, and this is our way of thanking the people of Atlanta by offering these extra low fares,” said AirTran Airways’ director of marketing Tad Hutcheson. “With fares this low, you can afford to enjoy the last days of summer at the beach, take in the sights of your favorite destination or visit friends and family across the country, but you can’t afford to wait — this sale is just one day.”

These special fares are available for purchase for 24 hours on August 19, 2005 and are good for travel through November 9, 2005. Like all of AirTran Airways’ fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.
